Course Description 

This course introduces students to the key themes of the 129 Wednesday audience addresses that comprise John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.  Particular attention will be paid to the imago Dei, fall and redemption, Christian ethics and ethos, freedom and person, gender and vocation.  Students will be encouraged to journey from “head to heart” in applying the theological concepts they learn to their own lives and relationships.

Meet your instructors

Christopher West, TH.D.

Dr. Christopher West serves as President of the TOB Institute and as Professor of Theological Anthropology in the jointly sponsored M.A. program with Pontifex University.  His global lecturing, best-selling books, multiple audio and video programs, and popular podcast (co-hosted by his wife Wendy) have made him one of the world’s most recognized teachers of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. His work has been featured in The New York Times, on ABC News, MSNBC, Fox News, and countless Catholic and Evangelical media outlets.

Bill Donaghy, M.A.

Bill Donaghy has worked in mission, evangelization, and education for over 25 years, with a background in visual arts, philosophy, and systematic theology. He has taught biblical studies and theology courses for a private high school for boys, and served for over 13 years as an adjunct professor for Immaculata University. Presently, he teaches theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary as well as for Homeschool Connections online, offering live, interactive courses for middle and high school age students. Bill is a senior lecturer for the Theology of the Body Institute as well as a Certification Program instructor, national and international speaker. He has been giving talks, retreats, and course to bishops, priests, deacons, consecrated men and women, and the lay faithful throughout the world since 2006.

Evan Lemoine es Licenciado en Bellas Artes por Louisiana State University (USA) con especialidad en Psicología, es Maestro en Humanidades por la Universidad Anáhuac de México y graduado de la Maestría en Ciencias de la Familia por el Instituto Juan Pablo II.
