Encounters That
Awaken the Heart
TOBI events invite people into the ever-ancient and ever-knew way of SEEING the beauty of the world, of human life, and of the Catholic Faith as it really is, opening the door into “the Art of Becoming.”
Whether it’s a night of story and live music intended for the entire parish, a formation experience for priests or consecrated women, or a custom event designed for your community, every TOBI event enables participants to rediscover who they are and what they’re made for.
What Makes TOBI Events Unique?
More Than a Program
An Encounter
Every TOBI event is an invitation along “the way of beauty” – blending art and teaching to stir the heart and create a real moment of awakening. TOBI events aren’t lectures. They’re dynamic invitations—into meaning, hope, and the liberating truth of what it means to be human.

Clergy & Consecrated Life Formation
Focused formation for those living celibacy for the Kingdom—helping priests, seminarians, religious sisters, and consecrated virgins see their vocation through an embodied vision of Christ’s spousal love for the Church.
THRIVE
For priests and seminarians
A dedicated space to receive—to rest, listen, and be renewed in the truth of priestly identity. Through prayer and honest fraternity, THRIVE helps participants:

integrate humanity with priestly identity, and
bring a clearer, more compassionate vision of the human person into ministry.
FLOURISH
For religious sisters & consecrated virgins
An experience of prayer, study, and community for women living consecrated love. FLOURISH invites participants to:
deepen understanding of the feminine genius and spousal identity,
pray and reflect on the body, soul, and heart as a gift for others, and
receive TOB as a lens for mission and accompaniment.
Want to host THRIVE or FLOURISH?

OUR BODIES PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL
Rediscovering the Catholic Faith through St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body
If we want to understand what is most sacred and meaningful in God’s plan for human life, we need only look at what is most fiercely attacked. Today, the human body, gender, and the call of man and woman to become “one flesh” are under unprecedented assault, and we are all living with the consequences. For such a time as this have we been given Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body—a bold, biblical reflection on our creation as male and female that leads us to the heart of what it means to be human and invites us to rediscover the very soul of the Catholic faith.
Join Dr. Christopher West, the world’s foremost teacher of John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, along with acclaimed singer-songwriter Mike Mangione, for a powerful three-day retreat (held Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday morning and afternoon). Through dynamic teaching, prayer, and live music, this immersive experience will confront the confusion of our time with clarity and hope, leaving you praising God for the “great mystery” of your creation as a man or a woman and wondering why you’ve never heard this before.
EMBODIED LOVE
A Retreat on St. John Paul II’s Master-Work Love & Responsibility
The so-called “sexual revolution” elevated physical pleasure over authentic love, reducing the sexual relationship to self-interest rather than self-gift. As a result, what we often call “love” often leans in the opposite direction: two people using one another to satisfy their own selfish desires. How do we recover real love, the love for which the human heart truly longs, and in doing so help rebuild civilization from its very foundations?
Join Dr. Christopher West, world-renowned expert on St. John Paul II’s teaching, along with acclaimed singer-songwriter Mike Mangione, for a powerful three-day retreat (held Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday morning and afternoon). Through dynamic teaching, prayer, and live music, this immersive experience will confront the confusion of our time with clarity and hope, opening your eyes and your heart to the beauty and dignity of leaving you praising God for the “great mystery” of your creation as a man or a woman and wondering why you’ve never heard this before.
THIS IS MY BODY
Entering the Fulfillment of All Desire by Rediscovering the Eucharist
Join world-renowned author and theologian Dr. Christopher West, along with acclaimed singer-songwriter Mike Mangione, for this powerful three-day retreat (held Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday morning and afternoon). As an extended version of their evening event called “The Well,” this immersive experience unfolds through the Gospel story of the woman at the well, leading you to rediscover the depth of your thirst for God and (more importantly) the “living water” poured out through Christ’s spousal love for the Church consummated in the Eucharist.
Through dynamic, relatable teaching, live music, prayer, and reflection, your eyes will be opened to the “great mystery” revealed in all of creation, especially the human body, and how that mystery culminates in Christ’s Body given up for us in the Mass. You will never see yourself, your longings, your body, Christ’s body, Mary’s womb, the chalice, the altar, indeed the whole Catholic faith and the whole universe quite the same way again.
