Theology of the Body Institute
The Theology of the Body Institute is a leading apostolate promoting Pope Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body at a popular level to both the Christian and the secular cultures. Through our Certification Program, On-Site Speaker Program, Clergy Enrichment Program, TOB Virtual Conference and the International TOB Congress, we desire to reach men and women in every state of life with an understanding of what it means to be created in God’s image and live out their call to love as He loves. Theology of the Body Institute seeks to penetrate and permeate the culture with the true vision of human identity that appeals to the deepest yearnings of the human heart for love and union.
The mission of Theology of the Body Institute is to educate and train men and women to understand, live and promote the Theology of the Body.
Pope Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body has been called his “masterwork” and a “theological time bomb.” Drawing from the depths of Scripture and Catholic Tradition, it illuminates the human desire to love, not as the world loves, but as God created us to love as male and female. By charting a path to an authentic sexual redemption, the Theology of the Body serves as the antidote to the culture of death and the foundation of the culture of life. The Theology of the Body Institute envisions a world filled with men and women who freely embrace their dignity created in the image and likeness of God. Only from this foundation can an authentic culture of life and love take root and flourish.
